Nice. Still missing Denmark, Ireland, and Sweden, however. And 2004 EU members are all missing in action: Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

I guess the irony must be lost on Apple: on the very day that they announce their special, black U2 iPod, they also announce the expansion of the ITMS to most of Europe. Yet of all the countries in that use the Euro as their currency, only one does not yet have access: Ireland. In other words, U2 can have their very own signature iPod, but if they want to buy any music for it, they are SOL.

well, what do you expect us to say?

We can't bitch because it's been finally announced, but can't yet rejoice because it's not yet here...

Are the UK songs still more expensive than the rest of Europe?
Y are...
ou bet theyBit of a slap in the face again.
They manage to get pan-European 99c pricing and charge 1.15 Euro in the UK (£.79)

Finally, someone at Apple Canada woke up and did something!

We still need to see what kind of selection and pricing they'll offer, but to compete with PureTracks they'll have to match I think.

If it's reasonable, I can see my music collection growing very soon ...

Ho Hum. You're right, we're awfully quiet. But really, what's left to get excited about? We've been clamouring for iTMS Canada for months and months. And when you've been waiting for this long, your patience tends to get very thin. Which is why it's just "ho-hum" for us.
